Black Ring Around Westies Eyelid Getting Bigger. Anyone Help?

I have a five year old male westhighland terrier. The black area surrounding his eyelids has grown larger in diameter, around his left eye, in the last few days. His eyelids aren't swollen and it doesn't appear to be bothering him but I'm at a loss as to what it could be!

I would make an appointment at the vets as soon as possible, best to get him checked out by an expert x x

thyroid problems are common in westies. whena dog has a thyroid defficency it makes there skin turn black.. what colour is the skin on its stomach. this is only a possiblity and is treated easily with thyroxine. you need take the dog to the vet and they do blood tests and check it..
