   I like naming my pets after food. It sounds cute.

   Shortcake, Dough, Cookie(s), Brownie, Cornflake(s).

   Or, you could be more random and make up a unique name.

   Squidge, Chopchop, Piglet, Pidge.

   Normal names.

   Max, Henry, Billy, Sophie.

   I always live with my dogs a little while and they generally name themselves. "Princess" Pepper was named for her spicy personality and her "royal" attitude. Oreo was a black cocker with one little white spot on her chest, and she was as sweet as a cookie! Jazz got his name because sometimes he is "sweet and soulful" and other times he is "wild and crazy".

   Let your puppy tell you what their name should be! It should become pretty obvious in a few days.

    A friend of mine has a Westie and she called her "Daisy May"
    I think it’s a sweet little name for a Westie.
