Westie Breeders in Mississauga Ontario?

does anyone know any good reputable westie breeders in mississauga ontario or near here? and how much would a westie cost to buy? also how much would it cost per year for a westie. i was guessing areund 1100 dollars? plus emergencies? thanks

I live in Oakville Ontario, and we got our Westie from a co-partner working with Scorybrek Kennels. They own a property in Milton, and we loved working with them. Our baby is 6 years old now, happy and healthy from champion parents. I believe one of their puppies now run about $2000. You can find out more on their website here: http://www.scorybrek.com/kennels.htm
Puppies are available occasionally, but give them a call to find out when they expect the next litter.

$1100 a year plus emergencies is not unreasonable – we feed our pup Orijen ($17.00 for a bag that lasts about 2 months), plus annual vaccs and miscellaneous items. Well worth the expence, though – he\s a great dog. I'd post pics, but I don't have a photo account. Good luck!

  1. Dog is my co-pilot says:

    Try the Westie Parent Club
That's most likely the only place you'll find a reputable& responsible breeder, aside from going to dog shows and meeting the breeders themselves.
I'm not sure the exact price, but I'd say the high hundreds depending on whether you want to pet or show quality.
As for overall cost per year, factor in food, grooming, toys, spay/neuter, leashes/collars, flea preventative, vet care, training, basic needs, ect
    You can check Petfinder.com
Its an adoption based website but you can find purebred & Westie Mixes who NEED homes in your area.
