we have found a westie breeder who is selling some of her puppies and she is selling the for £700 is that the right price or are we being ripped off should we wait for someone else selling some. btw the father of the puppies is a showdog

It all depends on the pedigree, but I have found accredited breeders from £300-£750. People vary the prices on bloodlines etc. You can go on the Kennel club website and find verified breeders.
I will probably get thumbs down now, but when I was looking for my Dobie, I looked for the rough price on EPUPZ then went to KC website and found the same verified breeder on there and he was recommended. My Dobie was up for £650 and I knocked him down to £500 as he knew the dog would be coming to an experienced handler and good home and probably knows that I will be back for another one lol (maybe he just wanted rid of me lol) . I wanted them all and if I’d had a farm and the money I would of took them all, that’s after I saved the ones from the shelters, EVERYONE else.

sounds about right. I would contact the westie rescue and adopt a great dog and the breed you want. they need homes too and are great dogs.

I live in America, and I am not sure how much oney that is. But I can teel you to only get this puppy if the parent’s have been tested for genetic problems and the breeder should have proof of it. A westie puppy here should be from $600 to $1000 dollars if oyu get it from a serious breeder.

Dog prices depend on bread and pedigree also is it registered or not with the AKC. Keep in mind that all registered breaders that are approved by the AKC are on a list and you can verify with the AKC.
Check with different rescue centers you might find a loving dog at a lower cost and you would be saving a life. Keep in mind that if you decide to adopt from over sea’s make sure you do it COD and it is not a fraud.
