I've been searching online and I've only found a place in Cincinatti that is a recuse place….but they won't adopt to me because I live in Conneaut OH and that's more than a 50 mile radius. I already have a Westie and am looking to rescue another one so she can have a playmate for when my fiance and I are not home (which is only about 3-4 hours that neither one of us is home). I've had some bad experiences with breeders going back on their contracts when my first Westie had a health problem and we wanted to return him and get another one the breeder said she "wasn't honoring written contracts anymore" so this time I want to rescue.

Thanks for the help. Also, I am willing to travel to pick up the dog.
Thanks for the rude comments about not wanting another dog. Of course both my fiance and I WANT another dog otherwise we wouldn't be persuing a rescue. It would just be nice for my current dog to have a playmate.

Unfortunately, many people learn how bad it is to buy from a breeder when it's too late. I am so happy you learned from your mistake though! That says a lot about your character!
