yeah ya see, they actually are fairly active, they require moderate exercise in order to be happy, so make sure your giving him his exercise….

It is just their nature.
I have two Westies and one would sleep all day, with the exception of her walks, if she were able to.
The other has bursts of energy, for 30 min to an hour, but then tends to sleep to get more energy.
